A chance meeting with Doris Pooser changed my life forever. She introduced me to the world of Image Consultancy and made me realise I could have a new career that combined my two great interests, clothes and people.

I spent my first years as an Image Consultant working in Europe. Working with multinationals made me hone my skills as a Stylist very quickly as I realised that the demands of my American clients were very different from the demands of my Italian ones. 

In 1995 I returned to the UK and joined FIPI [link to https://www.fipigroup.com/], the Professional Body for Image Consultants. I joined the Executive Board in 1997 and sat my Masters in Image Consultancy in 1999. Later that year I was elected President and in 2001 was awarded a TINA for services to the Image Industry. 

For the last 26 years, I have combined working in the private client market with lecturing at the London College of Fashion in London and Dubai. This has given me a unique insight into the global styling market. I have trained personal and commercial stylists from 145 countries. In November I will be joining the Fashion Retail Academy and lecturing in Personal Styling. 

My trainees have come from across the career spectrum, from Accountants and Lawyers to Fashion Designers and Brand Managers. I have trained Private Client Stylists and Stylists for both high street and luxury brands. I have delivered bespoke training programmes for Harrods, Harvey Nicholls, Selfridges, Swarovski and Alfred Dunhill. I have also worked with Tech Startups creating the algorithms for online stylists for luxury fashion brands.

 I am an avid collector of Vintage Clothes and Necklaces and very proud to be part of such a vibrant, exciting and growing industry.
